TroubleShooting:

* To clean up any old detections of MediaHarmony board:

	1. Run Win95 Device Manager
		a. go to "My Computer" and click right mouse button
		b. select "Properties" from menu
		c. select "Device Manager" tab

	2. Look under in the following spots:
		Other Devices
		Sound, Video and Game

and remove any devices labelled "NEC MediaHarmony",
		 "NEC HARMONY", "Ensoniq soundscape" or
		 "Gameport Joystick"

	3. Look under Communications and check that the number of
comm ports is correct (no extras)

	4. Go into MS-DOS and directory \WINDOWS\INF\oem*.inf

	5. Look for a file (around 5k to 6k) which has the line
"provider=ENSONIQ". Should be called OEM0.INF, but
	   may be OEM1.INF...

	6. Delete this file. Next time you boot, you will see the
message "rebuilding driver database". Do not worry, this
	   is okay.

* To free up resources for Harmony:

If you have a problem with resources, you may be able to switch off unused
comm ports on your motherboard. Do this as follows:

	1. First check "disabled" in BIOS Setup for the ports to
	   switch off.

	2. Then in device manager, for each port, find
"Where to use this device" and uncheck "original configuration".

	3. The device should be shown as disabled with a red X through it.

* If when you check the Device Manager, you seem to have extra
copies of devices (communication, multi-media), See "To clean
  up old detections of Harmony"

	6. Type EXIT to return to Win95

	7. Use My Computer to run C:\SSTEMP\SETUP.EXE

	8. When asked, accept the default directory of \SNDSCAPE

	9. Setup will install SSINIT.EXE, firmware and
INI file into \SNDSCAPE, and will update the
	   registry.

	    the directory.
