_________________

baspnt4.sys v6.09 for NT 4.0

baspw2k.sys v6.09 for Windows 2000

Key update with v6.09 release:

Enhancement to avoid BASP running out of receive buffers and also
to provide correct link down status reporting to the OS.

With previous BASP sw, the system can experience intermittent
network traffic failure due to receive buffers running out and
improper link down status reporting.

For more details, read the release.txt file that comes with each
of the driver above, in the directory for each.

3.0 Build and Installation Instructions
_________________________________________

It is best first to download the v7.05 CD image on this URL for
the overall user's guide on how to uninstall current BASP sw
in your system, in Windows NT 4.0, or 2000, or 2003.

For NT 4.0, remove all current teaming configurations.
Uninstall your current BASP installation level by right click
on Network Neighborhood then -> Properties -> Protocols.
Reboot and then from Protocols above, do Add then Have Disk.
Then point to the BASP files from \NT4 directory in this BASP
package to install new BASP 6.09.

For W2K, remove all current teaming configurations.
Then, from Settings -> Network and Dial-up Connections ->
Local Area Connection -> Right click and select Properties
-> General -> Then uninstall "Broadcom Advanced Server Program
Driver.

Then, run Baspinst.exe from \W2K in this package.

For Windows 2003, similarly to the above for W2K, uninstall all
current teaming configurations and existing BASP.

Then, run Baspi32i.exe from \XP32 from this package.
