Setting up pcAnywhere, Host/Remote Programs
To configure pcAnywhere, either the Host or Remote program, for
use with the TurboModem Plus you must do the following. Choose
Hardware Configurations and hit return. Then select Serial:
Modem and hit return. Choose the device/port that the TurboModem
Plus is configured for. Move the cursor bar the Modem and hit
return. Choose "Select from Modem List". You will be presented
with a list of modems that pcAnywhere supports. Select GVC 14400
V.42bis as your modem type. The software will prompt you to
edit the modem configuration. Choose yes and change the baud
rate to 57,600. Hit ESC and click on yes to save the changes.
Hit ESC to return to the main menu.

Other Considerations
If problems develop please check the following for possible
problems. Make sure the Com port setting in pcAnywhere matches
the setting on the TurboModem Plus. If you receive a failure in
connecting be sure to check the modem with a communications
package to ensure the modem functions properly. Be sure to check
to see if the modem initialization string matches the above
configuration. If problems still occur contact Symantec to
ensure your pcAnywhere settings are correct.
